Aerial Reconnaissance Evaluation of 1996 Storm Effects on Upland Mountainous Watersheds of Oregon, Southern Washington, and Idaho Completed aerial reconnaissance and landslide inventories in the mountains of central Idaho, and the Coast Ranges and Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington, following the February storm of 1996. Developed an observational database describing the effects of the storm on watershed processes (especially landslides and channel changes), as well as the relationship between forestland use (timber harvesting and road construction) and landsliding.
