Bill Weaver, Ph.D., CEO, Principal Geomorphologist, President
Dr. Weaver has over 27 years of professional experience in the fields of process geomorphology, surface water hydrology, watershed management, and engineering geology.  Since forming Pacific Watershed Associates, his work has focused on forest geomorphology, and the hydrologic and cumulative effects of land management on forested watersheds and wetlands ecosystems.

Danny Hagans, B.S., Principal Earth Scientist, Vice President
Mr. Hagans has extensive experience in conducting large scale, basin-wide erosion inventories and assessments, as well as implementing watershed rehabilitation and restoration projects in Northern California and elsewhere. Since joining Pacific Watershed Associates in 1990, Mr. Hagans has managed and conducted a variety of projects related to wildland hydrology and erosion processes, including sediment source assessments of over 2000 mi2 of managed forest land and erosion inventories and sediment reduction plans for literally thousands of miles of wildland forest roads, ranch roads, rural subdivision roads, vineyard roads, parkland roads, and county maintained public roads throughout California.

Eileen Weppner, B.S., P.G., Senior Geologist
Ms. Weppner has extensive experience in designing and conducting geomorphic and geologic assessments, including watershed assessments and watershed analysis, erosion inventories, erosion control projects, field surveying, and stream channel mapping.  She provides the quality control and quality assurance of Pacific Watershed Associates data management and scientific analysis.

Kathy Moley, B.S., P.G., Associate Geologist
Ms. Moley has been Project Geologist and Division Leader of the Environmental Division at Pacific Watershed Associates, Inc. for over seven years (since 1998).  Her extensive experience in subsurface geologic characterization and septic design provides clients with custom solutions to difficult development issues.  She also is an expert in tsunami mitigation strategies and is an active participant in geologic hazard community planning and education.

Eileen Hemphill-Hailey, Ph.D., Technical Editor
Dr.. Hemphill-Hailey has a long and extensive history in paleo-seismic analysis particularly focused on biostratigraphy.  She has a long list of published papers and is currently serving as Pacific Watershed Associates technical editor.

Randy Lew, B.S., P.G., Associate Geologist
Mr. Lew is a project geologist with extensive geologic and geomorphic field experience.  Mr. Lew specializes in road-related upland-watershed analysis and restoration, as well as grant writing. Randy’s experience also includes topographic surveying for stream channel geomorphology and geologic studies, he is also SWPPP certified.

Tom Leroy, M.S., P.G., Associate Geologist
Mr. Leroy specializes in watershed analysis and erosion control, and Holocene stratigraphy . His experience with Quaternary geology and geomorphology studies also includes Seismic hazard assessment, neotectonics, landslide and sediment source inventory, and environmental restoration.  Mr. Leroy is also SWPPP certified.

Cheri Watt, B.S., Project Scientist
Mrs. Watt's field experience uniquely qualifies her for large scale watershed analysis and restoration projects.  Mrs. Watt specializes in road-related upland-watershed analysis and restoration and grant writing.

Todd Kraemer, B.S., Project Hydrologist
Mr. Kraemer specializes in Watershed analysis and hydrology.  He has extensive experience interacting with diverse landowners across state lines and brings effective solutions to sediment control, road upgrading, and hydrologic monitoring projects.

Joel Flynn, B.S., P.G., Project Geologist
Mr. Flynn has extensive experience in geologic and geomorphic analysis as they relate to land management.  His experience is primarily in THP development, road-related watershed analysis, and geologic mapping.

Melissa Foster, B.S., Project Scientist
Ms. Foster's background is in watershed analysis and wildland geomorphology.  She focuses on developing restoration treatments, geologic and geomorphic mapping, and has also been involved in water quality monitoring and soil analysis. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in fluvial geomorphology at Humboldt State University investigating knickpoint migration.

Whelan Gilkerson, M.S., Natural Resources/GIS Specialist
Mr. Gilkerson has experience in hydrology, watershed studies, and erosion control. He has performed water quality and contaminant monitoring, and has overseen the construction of large-scale erosion control projects.  He has also performed mapping investigations and habitat modeling of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV).

Colin Hughes, B.S., P.G., Project Geologist
Mr. Hughes’ geologic studies have focused on watershed analysis and wildland geomorphology. Additionally, his earth science proficiency includes aerial photo analysis of geology and mass wasting features, geologic and geomorphic mapping, road-related watershed analysis, and geomorphology.

Elizabeth Richards, M.A., Physical Scientist
Ms. Richards' background is in community wide environmental planning and sustainable resource use.  She currently focuses on  watershed analysis and sediment reduction to streams in forested watersheds.

Chad Johnson, B.S., Physical Science Technician

John Green, M.S., Senior Geomorphologist
Mr. Green is the Program Manager for the Petaluma (North Bay) Office of Pacific Watershed Associates. He conducts and oversees professional and technical project work in applied sediment studies and the implementation of erosion assessments, erosion control planning and control implementation projects from southern California to the northern San Franciscan Bay Area.

Tara Zuroweste, B.A., P.G., Associate Geologist
Ms. Zuroweste opened the Environmental Division at the North Bay office of Pacific Watershed Associates in 2008. She specializes in commercial and residential development and watershed analysis. Her extensive experience in subsurface geologic characterization and septic design provides clients with innovative, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solutions to difficult development issues.

Shannon Butler, B.S., Physical Scientist
