Pacific Watershed Associates, Inc. (PWA) is soliciting bids for construction of road treatments associated with the Samuel P. Taylor Road Improvement Project.  The project’s ultimate goal is to protect Lagunitas Creek and its tributaries that support threatened fish species from excess erosion and sedimentation. Reduction of sediment inputs from anthropogenic sources will improve water quality and reduce impacts throughout the watershed, including all of Lagunitas Creek and Tomales Bay.

The selected contractor will make road improvements according to PWA’s Road Logs of Treatments for Samuel P. Taylor State Park.  Road improvements may include installation of culverts at stream crossings, critical dips, rolling dips, armored fill stream crossings, and road surface grading.  PWA will provide technical assistance and supervision of on-the-ground construction.
