Pacific Watershed Associates has extensive experience in conducting training and workshops relating to watershed restoration and erosion control. Workshops are customized to the client’s specific needs and interests and can be presented either by PWA solely or jointly with other experts. We pride ourselves in bringing technical concepts to a level of practical understanding for a variety of audiences. PWA presents up to 20 workshops each year ranging between one and five days.

Recent Workshops and Presentations
Speaking Engagement- Todd Kraemer presented a talk entitled First Priority Implementation Strategies for Sediment Control in Ecologically Valuable Salmonid Watersheds at The American Water Resources Annual Conference: Improving implementation strategies in the context of reducing restoration costs, while implementing effective erosion control and prevention treatments. The conference was be held on November 9-12, 2009 at the Red Lion Inn in Seattle, Washington.
Field School- Pacific Watershed Associates, California Department of Fish and Game, and Salmonid Restoration Federation conducted a field school to demonstrate proper culvert installation, road drainage practices, and erosion control techniques in the Garcia River Watershed October 13-16, 2009.
