Improving aquatic habitat for salmon and steelhead in Sulpher and Carneros Creeks

In partnership with eight landowners and the Napa County Resource Conservation District, PWA conducted road upgrading work on 20 miles of farm roads in the Sulpher and Carneros Creek watersheds to reduce road-related sediment inputs to the stream network. These efforts will prevent an estimated 20,000 cubic yards of sediment from delivering to and degrading important spawning habitat for salmon and steelhead. Full story at [napavalleyregister.com]
