Workshops & Technical Training

Pacific Watershed Associates has extensive experience in conducting training and workshops relating to watershed restoration and erosion control.  Workshops are customized to the client’s specific needs and interests and can be presented either by PWA solely or jointly with other experts.  We pride ourselves in bringing technical concepts to a level of practical understanding for a variety of audiences. PWA presents up to 20 workshops each year ranging between one and five days.

Our most popular workshop and training topics include:

  • Wildland and rural road systems (including all aspects of road upgrading, maintenance, storm-proofing, and decommissioning)
  • Sediment source inventories and assessments
  • Erosion prevention, erosion control, and sediment control practices
  • Watershed assessments and analysis
  • Fluvial, hillslope, and coastal geomorphology
